What’s Possible

What’s Possible? 🚀

After three meaningful years at Nishimachi International School, the time has come to explore what’s possible while looking ahead to new leadership opportunities beginning August 2026.

These years have reinforced what I value most in schools: clarity of purpose, a shared commitment to learning, and a belief that curiosity should sit at the heart of every great educational experience. Environments where ideas move, where learning is visible, and where the work connects to a larger vision of what education can and should be continue to energize and inspire my own sense of purpose.

Leadership, for me, is about shaping direction, creating coherence, and building the conditions that allow learning to flourish. Inquiry as a stance, possibility as an orientation, and the power of culture and clarity to drive meaningful growth have long guided this work.

When I taught literacy many years ago, I used to hold up a blank piece of paper and ask students what it was. After many interesting guesses, I explained that the page was a possibility, ready for any story they wanted to write. That idea has stayed with me.

Now, as I turn toward the next chapter, my own page feels wide open in a way that invites imagination, curiosity, and purpose.

Gratitude for this chapter runs deep, and the horizon ahead feels bright with the sense that anything is possible.
