Welcome back to a new school year!
Over the course of this summer Caulfeild received a “refresh” in a number of locations around the school. Our washrooms that were “vintage” from the beginning to the school’s history were gutted and rebuilt by our Facilities team. Our Learning Commons, was re-carpeted (courtesy of CPAC) and mill work was added for continuity throughout the Commons. Our Maker Space was also redesigned to meet the needs of our “making is thinking” program. This space is purposed to facilitate hands-on and digital learning. Finally, there were a number of upgrades to the school infrastructre that you will never see but are integral to the running of the school.
All of this refresh has permeated into our approach to learning. This year we will take a deeper look into self-regulation, the rethinking of learning spaces, the power of digital learning and the Caulfeild identity. We are very proud of our first term inquiry into the Caulfeild community as we strive to further connect our students with one another.
